  1. I've told folks about how I found this coin but here is a much much much more detailed post... It was the year 2011 on June 29th. I was watching a show called The Matrix by Kim Clement, when I first heard about "The Denarii". All of Kim Clement's prophecies were transcribed on his website in the prophecy vault at https://www.kimclement.com/prophecy/. I'll paste related prophecies below so you can understand how I made my discovery that The Denarii was Denarius (D). This was my first clue. I knew there was something called "The Denarii" that was likened to gold. It was something that I could invest in and was going to be stale for a while before having a sudden change. As for that ending there, it's about some of his other prophecies, like his oak tree medical prophecy. For historical tracking purposes, they changed the website text from Denarii to Dinar. I don't have a screenshot of it but I watched the video live broadcast and then watched the recording of it on his website many more times the following months and the actual words that came out of his mouth were "Denarii". During that time, Sunil and other Kim Clement team members were doing a Prophetic Codebreakers segment and I think they might have applied their own thoughts and opinions to interpret that Kim was talking about the Iraqi currency but even Kim said himself that's not what he saw. If this video is still up by the time you read this, you can see it for yourself here - I know why they changed it to Dinar from his original speech of Denarii and that is because those around Kim wanted to believe that he was talking about the Iraqi Dinar and folks even wrote him letters about it. Btw, the plural form of Dinar is Dinars, not Denarii. So, this prophecy had nothing to do with Iraqi Dinar currency. The next clue, which I didn't understand when I watched it....or else I'd be rich right now...was Kim Clement prophesying that Bitcoin would reach 20,000. Take note, he makes no mention of the Dow but everyone again made assumptions about his prophecy and assumed that he was talking about the Dow. Ask yourself this question...why would the Dow reaching 20k be worthy of prophecy? The Dow reaching 20k is almost a given. That's how the fiat controlled world works. The Dow just keeps going up and up over the years because the USD has a monopoly on the global economic system. Nobody smart would have questioned whether the Dow would reach 20k. Kim does go one after that and mention "BBB". First off, he didn't say it like 3 B's. He was stuttering with the word and he said that God hid the word from him and wouldn't let him see the rest so he only could see the first letter of the word. That is how he described it after he gave that prophecy. You can watch the videos from his show to hear the full description. God wouldn't show him the word Bitcoin because it would have changed the future drastically if he had said that back then. He couldn't say the whole word Bitcoin so he just said you had to "search it out for yourself and find out, BBB". So, there you have it - Kim Clement prophesied that Bitcoin would hit 20,000. This next clue connects The Denarii to bitcoin/crypto. Once again, he never prophesied about the DINAR. He prophesied about The DINARII. And once again, he also never prophesied about the Dow. He said "BBB" and 20,000. Kim Clement could see that there was a connection between his prophecy of the 20,000 and his prophecy of The Denarii. That was what he was trying to convey in his email update but others influenced him into believing his prophecies were about other things. This is why prophets don't watch the news and we can't always rely on others interpreting prophecies for them. I will go into further evidence below as to why it is not the Dow and why it is not the Dinar. Here, he specifically calls it out that it is not Wall Street. He says "remember the name gold". Here, he gives you plenty of clues that the Iraqi Dinar has nothing to do with his prophecy. So now that I've determined that Kim Clement's prophecy about "The Denarii" is in fact a crypto because it will have a breakthrough and is related to Bitcoin reaching 20,000, I searched for crypto currency coins that were named like The Denarii. As it is described on the main website - https://denarius.io/#about - we see the following.... We see that the plural form of Denarius is Denarii. Also, Denarius fractionals are called Denarii. For the USD, you can have fractional pieces of a dollar, which are called cents ($0.01 is called 1 cent). For Bitcoin, you can have fractional pieces of a Bitcoin (BTC), which are called Satoshi's (0.00000001 BTC is called 1 Satoshi). For Denarius (D), you can have fractional pieces, which are called Denarii (0.00000001 D is called 1 Denarii). You can also see this in the code... https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/blob/555adee539c4fe99e86dd41f37cc275c45ef7b82/src/init.cpp#L489 https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/blob/555adee539c4fe99e86dd41f37cc275c45ef7b82/src/miner.cpp#L193 // Fee-per-kilobyte amount considered the same as "free" // Be careful setting this: if you set it to zero then // a transaction spammer can cheaply fill blocks using // 1-denarii-fee transactions. It should be set above the real // cost to you of processing a transaction. https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/blob/555adee539c4fe99e86dd41f37cc275c45ef7b82/src/version.cpp#L8 // Name of client reported in the 'version' message. Report the same name // for both bitcoind and bitcoin-qt, to make it harder for attackers to // target servers or GUI users specifically. const std::string CLIENT_NAME("Denarii"); Also, I'm sure how related this is but on the Discord server, a social community chat - https://discord.gg/BwfAmkE - Denarius is often referred to as "The D". This is all the evidence I have on how I came to the conclusion that D was what Kim Clement was prophesying about. A lot of folks, including myself, are wondering how to react to this prophecy about "The Denarii". When Kim receives a prophecy, it's something majorly important. Kim wouldn't prophesy about something so trivial so this has to be big. I mean, if every other coin can jump 1000x in value, why would he specifically call out this one unless it was majority huge and different from the rest. Maybe it's even meant for Denarius to be the coin that overtakes Bitcoin as the leader in the crypto currency sphere.

You guys asked, you shall receive: https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/commit/99c777f5276b45243f1b43216aa140c2d0ece444 The FIRST masternode, darksend, instantx, and spork commit is up now in the "masternodes" branch on the main Denarius Github, the versioning change is to v2.0.0.0 and the protocol versioning and DB versioning change, so only use it on a test machine and for test purposes, there is no GUI currently yet until further testing is done, RPC commands are available. Do not use on a machine with your normal wallet, it will at this point delete the existing chain. Â Â

  17. I bought a Raspberry Pi 3 a while ago and got it recently. So of course I decided to run my denarius wallet on it, so it can stake always without my computer being on. The operating system is Raspbian Stretch, so I assume this tutorial will work for debian stretch as well. Start by opening a terminal and paste the following code to install dependecies: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade -y sudo apt-get install autoconf libtool libssl1.0-dev libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev -y Because compiling can take up a large amount of RAM and the raspberry Pi only has 1 gigabyte of it, let us create a swapfile: cd / fallocate -l 4G swapfile chmod 0600 swapfile mkswap swapfile swapon swapfile Now, because the daemon requires Berkeley database version 4.8 to work, we need to download, compile and install it since that is not included in the software repositories. cd ~/Downloads wget http://download.oracle.com/berkeley-db/db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz tar -xzvf db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz cd db-4.8.30.NC/build_unix/ ../dist/configure --enable-cxx make sudo make install Now, let us download the denarius source code and compile it. cd ~/Downloads git clone https://github.com/carsenk/denarius.git cd denarius/src Because we use a custom Berkeley library, we need to specify its location in the makefile, so go ahead and open that up using nano: nano makefile.unix look for this line: DEFS += $(addprefix -I,$(CURDIR) $(CURDIR)/obj $(CURDIR)/json $(BOOST_INCLUDE_PATH) $(BDB_INCLUDE_PATH) $(OPENSSL_INCLUDE_PATH)) Change it to this line: DEFS += $(addprefix -I,$(CURDIR) $(CURDIR)/obj $(CURDIR)/json $(BOOST_INCLUDE_PATH) $(BDB_INCLUDE_PATH) $(OPENSSL_INCLUDE_PATH) /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/include/) Press CTRL+O to save the file, press enter to verify the filename, then press CTRL+X to exit nano. Now we are ready to compile it! When you have typed in this command, prepare to wait for a while, maybe grab a good book or go to the denarius gitter chat to socialize. Compiling took 63 minutes on my Pi, it will depend on your swapfiles read/write performance and if you have overclocked your Pi. make -f makefile.unix -j4 LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib" Now since we are using a custom library, we need to tell the operating system to let programs use that. To do that, we need to edit the file /etc/ld.so.preload: nano /etc/ld.so.preload Add the following line to the file, then save and exit, like before: /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx-4.8.so and reboot: sudo reboot Now, your denariusd is ready to run and you set it up like you always would.Â

  20. I've extracted the code to verify signed messages and make a standalone library https://github.com/chelahmy/dnrverify/ My intention is to implement a signed message verification function in PHP. I've tried https://github.com/BitcoinPHP/BitcoinECDSA.php and https://github.com/scintill/php-bitcoin-signature-routines but both failed to verify Denarius signed messages. They used the technique from this link https://crypto.stackexchange.com/a/18106 which seems to be different from the one used in Denarius. I noticed modular arithmetic is applied in Denarius code. So, I just extract the signed-message verification code from Denarius and see if I can make a PHP version. Digital signature has wide applications which should be initiated by the cryptocurrency world. Every digital wallet has private keys which are ready to be used to digitally sign anything, other than just to sign spending transactions. The other side of the applications just need to verify the signed something without necessarily going through wallets.

  24. Okay, I got some mini-idea. Like when @Carsen makes new giveaway (if it happens) we could ask now to put tweet with some DNR-promo-message and not just DNR wallet address. I think it's pretty straightforward so no detailed explanation needed. We could put minimal-limit like at least 30 followers or something. What do you think, forum?

  28. Greetings All, My Name is Stu. I am 29 years old and live in the United Kingdom working as a CRM Developer at Sage. I have over 15 years of working with in IT industry and I have dabbled with a lot. Starting off as a Service Engineer and building my way through to Network Engineer, Migration Engineer, Office 365 Microsoft Specialist to now a CRM Developer through multiple companies. Outside of my career I have done game development (designed and coded a few games in VB, Talusia Online, Kanium and Ultrix Empires), web design, application development, electronic builds, 3D printing / design with CAD and much more. Could go on for while haha so to cut things short I dabble with a lot of stuff I started off mining Bitcoin back in 2011 when it was worth next to nothing $0.12, and over the years I jumped on different coins when scrypt currencies came about. I found Denarius the day it was launched and have followed the project ever since helping out as much as I can. Now I'm glad to be part of the forum team to help support the all Denarians Thanks, Stu

  29. This was very interesting to say the least. Kim Clement making a prophecy about Bitcoin reaching $20.000 and the part about denarii (Denarius) is extremely cool when you are connecting all the dots. Trump and Mr. Klock. Carsen Klock founded Denarius and Trump became president. I generally don't believe to much in prophecies. but this gives me goosebumps. I'm trying to be rational and not jump into conclusions, but the prophecies clearly leads to Denarius. I know there are technological breakthroughs incoming for Denarius and the part about "suddenly something" seems to align well. If I ever were to buy something based on a prophecy it would be now. Doesn't look like a lot of people know about Denarius and this prophecy yet, so we are certainly in this early. Well done InoDenarii.

  30. Crypto Mining is a way of mining a specific coin by using the hashing power of your machines devices. More info here. Below we will discuss how to mine Denrius(DNR) Coin from one of the many mining pools available. First we must decide on what pool we want to mine too. Below is a list of mining pools available with the tribus algo for mining Denarius(DNR): http://neonpool.sytes.net/https://dnr.coin-miners.info/http://yiimp.ccminer.org/http://pool.denarius.name/http://brutum-pool.com/https://pool.coin-miners.info/http://hashbag.cchttp://kawaiipool.party/http://www.zpool.ca/  Generally on a mining pools site you will find instructions on what to edit your bat file to start mining (which I will cover in a bit). Once we have decided on the pool we wish to mine too, we must then find a miner we want to use. Below is a list of miners. Some miners are specific, such as to mine with your computers GPU or CPU, as well as which GPU or CPU your machine has. So you cant mine with a AMD card using a CUDA miner (Nvidia miner) and vise versa. So make sure you select the correct miner for your GPU or CPU you are going to use:  Tribus CPU Miner Source: https://github.com/carsenk/cpuminer-multi (Tested and working on Linux and Windows) tpruvot has kindly updated the CPU Miner Multi Source for Tribus: https://github.com/tpruvot/cpuminer-multi Tribus CPU Miner for Windows: https://github.com/carsenk/cpuminer-multi/releases/download/v1.0-T/cpuminer.exe Optimized CPU Miner: Git: https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt Optimized CPU Miner Windows Binary: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lVSGQYLJIZNHhCeE5iUHluUUE/view?usp=sharing Tribus GPU Miner for NVIDIA GPUs on Windows: https://github.com/carsenk/ccminer/releases/download/v2.0-tpruvot-tribus/ccminer-2.1-tribus.7z Tribus GPU Miner for NVIDIA GPU Source: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer Tribus AMD GPU sgminer Source: https://github.com/carsenk/sph-sgminer-tribus Tribus AMD GPU sgminer Windows: https://github.com/carsenk/sph-sgminer-tribus/releases New Tribus AMD GPU sgminer (v5.3.7): http://ccminer.org/preview/sgminer-x64-5.3.7.zip Newer Tribus AMD GPU sgminer v5.3.8: http://ccminer.org/preview/sgminer-x64-5.3.8.zip Enkayz-Hashbag Tribus ccminer v2.2-Skunk: https://hashbag.cc/ccminer-2.2-skunk.zip Now that we have the pool we wish to mine too, and the miner we want to use we cant start setting up our miner! Now as an example lets say we have a Nvidia card we want to use to mine and we have downloaded the "Tribus GPU Miner for NVIDIA on windows" which is a "ccminer". Once we download the correct miner, we open up the miners folder and start creating our bat file, which will be used to start up the miner (some miners come with a bat file already created that we just need to edit). Lets say that no bat file came with the miner, so lets make one. Create a new "Text Document" in the miners folder. (Right click in miners folder > New > Text Document) Now with in the text document add the below text: ccminer-x64 -a tribus -o stratum+tcp://stratum-eu.coin-miners.info:8533 -u DEA4Z4NJps67KDG5NxoUkfKc4XLs1QbpjT -p x pause Above is my bat file text for my personal PC to mine when I'm not using it (in over words when I'm at work or in bed lol) so you will have to edit the files text to your details. Lets break this down, as my miner set up will be different to yours: ccminer-x64 "ccminer-x64" is the .exe file that will be started with in the bat file. In other words the complied miner itself. -a tribus "-a tribus" -a is used to define the algorithm to be used by the miner. -o stratum+tcp://stratum-eu.coin-miners.info:8533 "-o stratum+tcp://stratum-eu.coin-miners.info:8533" -o is used to define the pool we wish to mine to. You will find this information on most pools help page. -u DEA4Z4NJps67KDG5NxoUkfKc4XLs1QbpjT "-u DEA4Z4NJps67KDG5NxoUkfKc4XLs1QbpjT" -u is the wallet address for DNR you wish to mine too. Its really the worker username. You can get a wallet address by downloading the Denarius Wallet. More info on the Denarius Wallet here. But you will need an address so you can obtain and hold your DNR coins earned. -p x "-p x" -p is the password, which is not important or used by most pools. So don't worry about this, but it is still needed in the miners bat file. pause "pause" I use pause at the end of my bat file. I do this as if the miner does not work it will not just close itself down, but pause so I can see any useful information that may be present to help me troubleshoot why the miner failed to start. So all you have to really change is the "-o" for the pools address:port and "-u" to your Denarius Wallet Address. Ok! Now that we have the text file populated we can now turn it in to a bat file. Click File > Save As and name the file what ever you wish, such as "start miner", but at the end of the file name you have chosen add ".bat". So an example would be: "start miner.bat". Your miner folder should look something like this: Great! We now have our miner bat file all ready to start earning us some DNR! All we have to do now is double click our bat file "start miner.bat" and you will see a DoS box / CMD open with information on the miner. If all is well you will start to see you miner hashing like below: You know everything is working correctly when you see your miner hashing and on some miners you get a sign that you are mining such as the green "Yes!" as seen above. If you see a lot of "Boo's" then you have an issue and should stop your miner and investigate. A "Boo's" every now and then is fine. The breakdown of the above is that my two GeForce GTX 680s are hashing at around 16 MH/s each @ 71 degrees temp with the fan speed at 85%. It should be around 20MH/s but the miner has just been started and will take a bit of time to get to its average hashing power. Always make sure to check you Temps! Good practice is to download a monitor for you devices to keep check on them so they don't over heat. If you device starts to get too hot I would under clock them slightly. Thanks and I hope this helps Stu

  31. I forgot to mention that I stumbled onto Denarius when one day I saw that it was a profitable GPU mineable coin. So, I downloaded the core wallet searched for a miner and started to mine Denarius with my GPU rig.

  34. Hi Sheila and welcome to DenariusTalk! I'm glad you found my post informative. I followed Kim Clement for many years until his death. I stopped watching the show after that but I still read updates from the House of Destiny emails. To answer you question about bitcoin reaching 20,000 in 2017 and whether we missed out on the prophecy, I don't think we've missed out on the prophecy. Kim didn't give much more details, as most prophecies are like puzzles but I will cover the 2 possibilities. Kim prophesies in 2013 that Bitcoin will reach 20,000, that The Denarii will have a breakthrough, and that those 2 prophecies are somehow related. One way of viewing this is to think that the times are related. This viewpoint assumes that The Denarii will have its breakthrough WHEN Bitcoin reaches 20,000. If Bitcoin reaches 20,000 multiple times then this can be hard to pinpoint. Sure, Bitcoin hit 20,000 in 2017 but then it went down and it looks like it will hit 20,000 again later this year in 2019 if I were to guess at it. If Bitcoin hits 20,000 this year and The Denarii has its breakthrough moment then, we will realize he was talking about the 2nd time that Bitcoin hits 20,000 and not the first. Personally, I'm too attached to the theory on it being time based like the bullet above, though I still think about it as a possibility and my eyes will definitely be paying more attention as Bitcoin approaches near 20,000 again. The other option is to look at the 2 prophecies as being in the same category, which the viewpoint that I hold. This is to look at the November 22nd email as telling us that the 20,000 prophecy tells us about Bitcoin and it is connected somehow to the "massive breakthrough" regarding The Denarii. I see that as them being in the same category. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and thus The Denarii must also be a cryptocurrency. That is the way that I like to see it. More on why we have not "missed out on the prophecy" - Kim would never have prophesied about small things. I have not seen any breakthroughs on anything "The Denarii" yet. D coin had a small rise when Bitcoin hit 20,000 but that was too small scale and I don't think Kim would have described what he saw there as a "massive breakthrough". In crypto land, there are tons of altcoins that have similar rises to that. So, if Denarius (D) is "The Denarii" then the "massive breakthrough" and rise in price will be truly historic and have to be even greater than just the average altcoins that can do a measly 10-20x price quickly.

  35. A full tutorial on how to Stake Denarius Coins - D. Staking Denarius is as easy as accumulating Denarius coins, sending into your own QT Wallet and waiting the initial 8 hours for the coins to mature to be ready for staking. First we need to get a Denarius Wallet so we have a D address to use for staking. The place to download the latest wallet is from Github under releases. This has a section for latest released wallets compiled by the main Developer, Carsen Klock. https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/releases Direct Download Links Windows - https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/releases/download/v3.3.9.2/Denarius-v3.3.9.2-Win64.zip MacOS - https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/releases/download/v3.3.9.2/Denarius-v3.3.9.2-macOS.dmg Ubuntu - compile yourself Windows We can store the QT wallet .exe anywhere on your PC. For example, you can make a folder called c:\crypto\denarius and store the QT wallet .exe there. Come up with a location to run the .exe from and copy the .zip you downloaded and paste into this new directory. ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste, or right click for copy and paste commands in Windows File Explorer. Unzip the Denarius.zip file and you will see denarius.exe. This is the QT wallet. Double click this executable file, and the wallet will start up. In the background the wallet will create a denarius.conf file in the blockchain directory and start to sync. Congratulations, you now have a Denarius address! hint: The blockchain data is defaulted to store in C:/Users/<yourname>/AppData/Roaming/Denarius When Carsen releases a new wallet, all you do is close the wallet, overwrite denarius.exe and double click to run again. Make sure your wallet is fully synced before proceeding further. Using the QT wallet, enter the debug console (Help > Debug window). This step will generate a masternode private key, please note this down and this will be required later. Type the following command: masternode genkey 2. Get masternode address for your masternode. Replace masternodename with your desired masternode name. getaccountaddress masternodename 3. Send from your wallet exactly 5,000 DNR to the address you generated from step 2. Ensure you get 20 confirmation before proceeding. 4. Navigate to your users Roaming folder. Copy and paste %AppData% This should show you the Roaming folder and find Denarius folder. 6. In the denarius folder we will create a denarius.conf file, if it is has not been created already. Copy and paste the configuration below to your denarius.conf file. staking=0 addnodes to the bottom of the denarius.conf above. 7. Create and save another configuration file called fortunastake.conf in the same location as denarius.conf. <Alias name of your choice> <VPS IP address>:9999 <Private Key from step 1> <TransactionHash from step 4> <Transaction Index from step 4> Example: MNDNR 31.14.125.27:9999 DF92WPpkqbr7s6Si4fdsfssjjapuFzAXwETCrpPJubnrmU6aKzh c8f4965ea57a68d0e6dd384324dfd28cfbe0c801015b973e7331db8ce018716999 1 8. Ensure you close or restart your main wallet. How to use Putty for Windows to login to your VPS https://www.vultr.com/docs/connecting-to-your-server-with-ssh-via-putty-on-windows Ubuntu VPS Masternode Server Setup Change root password For security reasons you should change the root password with a strong and randomly generated password that you store somewhere safe. passwd root Input your new password twice and continue. Add User and Change User Permissions To take additional security measures, we will create a new user under which we will run the masternode. Use the following command to add a user and replace (name) with the name of your choice. adduser <name> Input a password for your user when prompted. Next we need to give this user administrative permissions with the following command: usermod -aG sudo <name> Update Linux and Install Security Features Use the following commands install updates for Ubuntu: apt-get update && apt-get upgrade -y Press “Y” and Enter when prompted to continue. Next we will install a firewall with the following command: apt install ufw python virtualenv git unzip pv make nano Press “Y” and Enter when prompted to continue. SSH Key SSH keys are a safer way to login. If you are not interested in SSH keys, skip to the next part of the tutorial. Use the following Vultr Doc to make an SSH key: How Do I Generate SSH Keys? After you get your public key, login with your new user again. su username mkdir ~/.ssh; nano ~/.ssh/authorized_keys Copy the public key directly from the PuTTY key generator into the terminal Save the file, then change the permissions of that file. sudo chmod 700 -R ~/.ssh && chmod 600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys Return to the root user. exit SSH configuration Now we will make the SSH daemon more secure. Let's start with the config file: nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config Disable root ssh login This step will disable root login through SSH, it is entirely optional but highly recommended. Find this line: PermitRootLogin yes ... and change it to: PermitRootLogin no Find the line that specifies PasswordAuthentication, uncomment it by deleting the preceding #, then change its value to "no". It should look like this after you have made the change: sshd_config — Disable password authentication PasswordAuthentication no This will make the server more secure against bots that try brute force and/or common passwords with user root and port 22 Restart SSH daemon Now that we made the changes to secure the SSH Login, restart the SSH service: service ssh restart This will restart and reload the server settings Firewall Settings note: port 33339 is P2P port for Denarius ufw allow ssh/tcp ufw allow 9999/tcp ufw allow 33339 ufw allow 19999 ufw logging on ufw enable press "Y" and Enter when prompted to continue Create Swapfile fallocate -l 4G /swapfile chmod 600 /swapfile mkswap /swapfile swapon /swapfile nano /etc/fstab Add the code below at the end of the file, then press “Ctrl + X” to close the editor, then “Y” and Enter to save the file. *Separate the words and numbers with a TAB. /swapfile none swap sw 0 0 Fail2Ban Install Finally we will install an optional security feature called “Fail2Ban”. This feature bans malicious IP addresses by scanning log files for failed login attempts. apt-get install fail2ban Press “Y” and Enter when prompted to continue. If you want to dig into fail2ban some more -> https://linode.com/docs/security/using-fail2ban-for-security/#configure-fail2ban Reboot Server Now we will finalize the updates by rebooting the server. reboot now You will be disconnected and the server will reboot automatically. From this point on, you will login to your server and run the masternode from the user you created previously. Install Masternode Dependencies Log into your VPS as the user you previously created. Terminal: Replace <username> with your username ssh <username>@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx PuTTY: Follow the steps at the start of this guide to connect to the VPS. When prompted for “login as” use your user name instead of “root” Input the follow commands to install the required dependencies. Enter your password if prompted. sudo apt-get --assume-yes install git unzip build-essential libssl-dev libdb++-dev libboost-all-dev libqrencode-dev libminiupnpc-dev libgmp-dev libevent-dev autogen automake  libtool Install Denarius Mainnet master Branch: Input the following commands to install the mainnet fortunastake branch. git clone https://github.com/carsenk/denarius cd denarius git checkout master cd src make -f makefile.unix It will take about 10 minutes while your server processes and installs the masternode files. ★ If your VPS gets hung up for an extended period throughout the process you may need to upgrade to a VPS with more RAM. 2GB is recommended. You will know that the process is complete when you see the following: <username>@<servername>:~/denarius/src$ This means the VPS is ready for further commands and that you are currently in the “~/denarius/src” directory. From here we will enter the command that is used to start the Denarius Server Deamon ./denariusd It won’t start up now because we have not configured the denarius.conf file, but we need some information the output provides. Copy the lines (as shown above) that start with code below and save it. rpcuser= rpcpassword= We will then create a denarius.conf file and add these lines to the file. To create and edit the config file use the command below: nano ~/.denarius/denarius.conf Copy in your rpcuser and rpc password at the top, Copy and paste the configuration below to your denarius.conf file. Make sure to replace the values that are unique to your node without “< >”. Ensure that rpcuser and rpcpassword are different than you had specified in the main wallet. rpcuser=<rpc_user> rpcpassword=<rpc_password> rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 daemon=1 staking=0 listen=1 logtimestamps=1 maxconnections=256 port=9999 fortunastake=1 fortunastakeprivkey=<private key generated in step 1> Addnodes to the bottom of the above denarius.conf file. Add chaindata cd ~/.denarius rm -rf database txleveldb smsgDB wget https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/releases/download/v3.2/chaindata1451336.zip unzip chaindata1451336.zip If it asks to overwrite type A for all. Start your Denarius daemon. cd ~/denarius/src ./denariusd Wait for sync to finish. To check if you are fully synced type ./denariusd getinfo And wait for the current block to show up. Start masternode remotely - QT wallet From your main computer, go to the debug console and verify fortunastake.conf file is setup properly fortunastake list-conf Make sure the data output here matches the information entered in the fortunastake.conf file. If not, edit the file and correct the data. You will have to restart the main wallet, if you update the fortunastake.conf file. If the fortunastake configuration matches then we can finally start the fortunastake. Start the fortunastake by executing the following (wallet needs to be unlocked): fortunastake start-alias <alias name specified in fortunastake.conf> If the output says “masternode is stopped” then run the following command: fortunastake start Verify on VPS fortunastake - VPS wallet To ensure the fortunastake is running properly you can use the debug and status commands: ./denariusd fortunastake debug If there are no issues, there should be a message returned with no problems found. ./denariusd fortunastake status You should get a status 9 if the fortunastake is active and there is no issue! How to read debug log on VPS wallet. tail -f ~/.denarius/debug.log You can see if your fortunastake is listed on the QT wallet - fortunastake Icon > Denarius Network tab. If it does not appear straight away, give it 30mins and restart the wallet to check if your fortunastake shows up on the list If you watch the debug.log while you run fortunastake start-alias fortunastakeNAME from the QT wallet, you might be able to catch the screenshot below. Fortunastake Status Codes fortunastake_NOT_PROCESSED: 0 fortunastake_IS_CAPABLE: 1 fortunastake_NOT_CAPABLE: 2 fortunastake_STOPPED: 3 fortunastake_INPUT_TOO_NEW: 4 fortunastake_PORT_NOT_OPEN: 6 fortunastake_PORT_OPEN: 7 fortunastake_SYNC_IN_PROCESS: 8 fortunastake_REMOTELY_ENABLED: 9 Thanks to @Ragtag for clearly writing how the cold wallet works for testnet.

  39. Thread has been locked! I have cleaned up the thread removing all multiple posts from members who are trying to get more than their fair share of the giveaway, with that members who double posted have had all posts removed from giveaway! If you double post I will see and remove both your posts so you don't get anything from the giveaway! I have also found a lot of members creating multiple accounts to try and gain more DNR from the giveaway. They have been banned with posts removed so they will not get anything from the giveaway either! This is a warning to people, if you want to participate in the giveaway, please do it fairly and don't try to trick in to getting more free DNR as we can see who is doing this and you will get nothing in the end! Thanks to all who participated fairly!
