stevenhunter20
Hi. My wallet stopped syncing a few days ago on block 8001003 and i have no idea why. The worst part is that i have sent some coins to the wallet after this block so they have not arrived. can anyone help? bearing in mind i'm not a programmer and have limited IT skills. I literally need a step by step idiots guide on how to fix this. I'm running v2.5.2.0 This is the debug log file. Ghost
Close Denarius, Then in the same place you found your debug.log (The Denarius Data Directory) remove everything except for your wallet.dat (back that up as it contains your funds/private keys) Then download the chaindata.zip from: https://gitlab.com/denarius/chaindata/raw/master/chaindata.zip Extract its contents into the Denarius data directory and reopen Denarius. Should be good to go and you should see your funds, if you don't for some reason, run the command in the Debug Window/Console: scanforalltxns  Quote Founder of BlockForums.org - PM me for any help - Join our Discord Server: https://discord.gg/UPpQy3n

buck54321
I am having the same problem. I would really like to support Denarius, but if you can't sync a blockchain with peers, then you don't have a blockchain. This needs to be addressed immediately, and you should not be asking people to download your stored version of the blockchain.
buzzkillb
The wallet can sync from block 1 though.
buck54321
Not exactly sure what you're saying. Do you mean that if I just get the first block from somebody, the rest will sync up fine? Why can't I just get the first block by running a node, like every other blockchain?
buzzkillb
Fine not block 1, block 0. The wallet can sync from block 0 with no addnodes just fine. I have done this a few times over the last couple of weeks.
