Play-to-earn NFT gaming marketplaces, especially, have been developing sports-based games that are drawing in players and sports fans by the dozen. Sports collectibles, too, have now been digitized using NFTs. This is a step above traditional collectibles as NFTs can help verify the authenticity of the collectible you’re buying apart from giving you all the rights of ownership. Fan tokens are now becoming a trend in the sporting world. These tokens are extremely coveted since they offer access to exclusive events, membership perks, and a say in club decisions!
