Minerius
Depends on your hardware. If you have many GPUs then go solo. I put one rig of mine, which hashes at 140Mh/s , to solo mine and it does great. 3-4 blocks / day . Which is the same amount of DNRs or more than pool mining with my hashrate. My previous bad experience with hashbag.cc with stolen coins, kept me away from this. I don't know about other pools.
metaljamy
Well. I have 4 x 1060 (armor 6G) 121 - 122Mh/s. Use http://yiimp.ccminer.org pool and ccminer/2.2. 7-14 coins per day. So am thinking about solo now. About hashbag.cc and stolen coins heard( Edited August 20, 2017 by metaljamy

I just restored a bunch of payments on hashbag, so you should have gotten (at least some) of the coins back. Since the issue occurred (which happened to multiple yiimp-based pools) I haven't had an incident and have secured down all of the access points. There's also been an update to fix the vulnerability on the yiimp github. Hashbag is back to it's former glory again  I'm sorry for your loss and hopefully you received the payment run which I just put through a couple of hours ago. The pool now has a seperate database/web server to the new stratums. -o stratum+tcp://us.hashbag.cc:8688 -u <DNR_WALLET> -p c=DNR,d=0.05 -o stratum+tcp://nl2.hashbag.cc:8688 -u <DNR_WALLET> -p c=DNR,d=0.05 -o stratum+tcp://de.hashbag.cc:8688 -u <DNR_WALLET> -p c=DNR,d=0.05 1
tex6246
hashbag is my choice, all the yiimp pools had stolen coins, hashbag was lucky, it was hit the lightest, some lost 6 BTC worth of coins
Minerius
"so you should have gotten (at least some) of the coins back"  Thanks for letting us know, good work! But the balance before I guit hashbag.cc was more than 20 DNR and today I just received from an external address 0.03 DNR. Really hope everything's up and running without any problems, for new members to join in your pool. Good luck!

Not much then before. Let's see what we have with hashbag)
jtmining17
I've found that a pool with less miners but still active pays out the best. hashbag.cc for example had 70 miners when I first started and I was making 3+dnr a day, now it has 230+ miners and I'd be lucky to hit 1dnr a day (splitting the bounty with more people means less pay each). Fetchmygold
if I have 1.1gig is it better to solo mine? I make about 33 DNR a day on yiimp.

Try it out for a few days. Â See how it pays... I keep a spreadsheet and pull my daily balance onto it to see how much I've made each day to see what had the best return for me
iqranawaz
It is difficult to choose which pool is better but I think you can set up secure nodes. Security is most important, if you don't get profit but you are secure.
