  4. It doesn't happen that often, I would rather have programmer focus on more important issues, than adding an error message. I had my wallet not load and it was kind of nerve racking. maybe an error message for that so someone doesn't freak out thinking they lost all of there funds lol. It seems too a lot of the times something that sounds easy is not at all. All this is opened source though so you could try to do it yourself?
  5. Conf file seems fine try to restart your computer and check your GPU driver in windows and make sure its detecting it properly. Also check for driver updates, and try updating the Denarius wallet to 2.0, I doubt that would have an impact, but needs to be done anyway cheers let me know how it works out for you.
  6. i believe you can do this in GPU Bios. Try to look up youtube video on modding GPU Bios, however I think it voids warranties. Sometimes computer components don't like certain bios changes as well, so I wouldn't recommend it unless your very comfortable with it. I've done Bios changes on my CPU before but never GPU. For the CPU you just f12 or del as windows is starting up and it takes you into bios screen. Sorry I don't think this is much help
  7. you can mix and match I try to keep them similar as far as just being NVidia or AMD

for Denarius Nvidia is far superior for the algorithm. As long as your motherboard has enough PCI-16x slots you can add a 1080ti no problem. Also want to make sure you have enough power when adding on, as well as space if it is in a case.

You can add another graphics card no problem a 1080ti might be a little much on the power supply. I'm not sure power draw on thread ripper. If thread ripper is under 200 watts you can add the 1080ti, if it' more I would go with a 1080 or 1070 ti

      That' a very nice system

  8. Yes for the thread ripper or any cpu typically you want to run xmr. There' not too many options for coins to mine with a cpu, but thread ripper should still be very profitable. The 1060 is a nice card I don' personally own any I mostly have 1070s and up. Since its nvidia you would want to install the latest version of cc miner and config to mine on denarius.
  9. It is the windows logo when msi afterburner is opened. Anytime windows restarts it will preload your config.
  10. There is a windows button on msi that will do that
  11. NVidia will more than likely be announcing graphics card line up shortly, better to hold off. Rumors are if anything like the Titan Volta indicates the new GPU's will be amazingly efficient. I noticed the same thing with payouts and it is because of the difficulty, and take notice that the whattomine site does not accurately portrait real payouts. Ive used it in the past to see how DNR payouts stacked up against it and it was off quite significantly. The difficulty has increased quite a bit, I'm not sure what the calculations are, but it seems when it goes up by lets say 10% difficulty the payouts are decreased by a lot more than 10%. The payouts for mining are down across the board too because of the 400b that got wiped away in a few weeks.
  12. this isn't the first coin to do that. a majority of people believe in GPU mining and proof of stake over asic mining. asic mining tends to centralize the network due to Bitmain being basically a monopoly. They could create a miner that could overtake the network and do 51 percent attacks very easily on smaller coins.
  13. I'm not sure what causes it, but I can tell you it happens fairly often. Big fluctuations and then decreases. Today the difficulty trend was a lot higher than normal. I use this https://whattomine.com/coins/187-dnr-tribus
  14. is the locked number the number of DNR that you must have in a wallet or on the master node you set up at all time?
