  1. I've told folks about how I found this coin but here is a much much much more detailed post... It was the year 2011 on June 29th. I was watching a show called The Matrix by Kim Clement, when I first heard about "The Denarii". All of Kim Clement's prophecies were transcribed on his website in the prophecy vault at https://www.kimclement.com/prophecy/. I'll paste related prophecies below so you can understand how I made my discovery that The Denarii was Denarius (D). This was my first clue. I knew there was something called "The Denarii" that was likened to gold. It was something that I could invest in and was going to be stale for a while before having a sudden change. As for that ending there, it's about some of his other prophecies, like his oak tree medical prophecy. For historical tracking purposes, they changed the website text from Denarii to Dinar. I don't have a screenshot of it but I watched the video live broadcast and then watched the recording of it on his website many more times the following months and the actual words that came out of his mouth were "Denarii". During that time, Sunil and other Kim Clement team members were doing a Prophetic Codebreakers segment and I think they might have applied their own thoughts and opinions to interpret that Kim was talking about the Iraqi currency but even Kim said himself that's not what he saw. If this video is still up by the time you read this, you can see it for yourself here - I know why they changed it to Dinar from his original speech of Denarii and that is because those around Kim wanted to believe that he was talking about the Iraqi Dinar and folks even wrote him letters about it. Btw, the plural form of Dinar is Dinars, not Denarii. So, this prophecy had nothing to do with Iraqi Dinar currency. The next clue, which I didn't understand when I watched it....or else I'd be rich right now...was Kim Clement prophesying that Bitcoin would reach 20,000. Take note, he makes no mention of the Dow but everyone again made assumptions about his prophecy and assumed that he was talking about the Dow. Ask yourself this question...why would the Dow reaching 20k be worthy of prophecy? The Dow reaching 20k is almost a given. That's how the fiat controlled world works. The Dow just keeps going up and up over the years because the USD has a monopoly on the global economic system. Nobody smart would have questioned whether the Dow would reach 20k. Kim does go one after that and mention "BBB". First off, he didn't say it like 3 B's. He was stuttering with the word and he said that God hid the word from him and wouldn't let him see the rest so he only could see the first letter of the word. That is how he described it after he gave that prophecy. You can watch the videos from his show to hear the full description. God wouldn't show him the word Bitcoin because it would have changed the future drastically if he had said that back then. He couldn't say the whole word Bitcoin so he just said you had to "search it out for yourself and find out, BBB". So, there you have it - Kim Clement prophesied that Bitcoin would hit 20,000. This next clue connects The Denarii to bitcoin/crypto. Once again, he never prophesied about the DINAR. He prophesied about The DINARII. And once again, he also never prophesied about the Dow. He said "BBB" and 20,000. Kim Clement could see that there was a connection between his prophecy of the 20,000 and his prophecy of The Denarii. That was what he was trying to convey in his email update but others influenced him into believing his prophecies were about other things. This is why prophets don't watch the news and we can't always rely on others interpreting prophecies for them. I will go into further evidence below as to why it is not the Dow and why it is not the Dinar. Here, he specifically calls it out that it is not Wall Street. He says "remember the name gold". Here, he gives you plenty of clues that the Iraqi Dinar has nothing to do with his prophecy. So now that I've determined that Kim Clement's prophecy about "The Denarii" is in fact a crypto because it will have a breakthrough and is related to Bitcoin reaching 20,000, I searched for crypto currency coins that were named like The Denarii. As it is described on the main website - https://denarius.io/#about - we see the following.... We see that the plural form of Denarius is Denarii. Also, Denarius fractionals are called Denarii. For the USD, you can have fractional pieces of a dollar, which are called cents ($0.01 is called 1 cent). For Bitcoin, you can have fractional pieces of a Bitcoin (BTC), which are called Satoshi's (0.00000001 BTC is called 1 Satoshi). For Denarius (D), you can have fractional pieces, which are called Denarii (0.00000001 D is called 1 Denarii). You can also see this in the code... https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/blob/555adee539c4fe99e86dd41f37cc275c45ef7b82/src/init.cpp#L489 https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/blob/555adee539c4fe99e86dd41f37cc275c45ef7b82/src/miner.cpp#L193 // Fee-per-kilobyte amount considered the same as "free" // Be careful setting this: if you set it to zero then // a transaction spammer can cheaply fill blocks using // 1-denarii-fee transactions. It should be set above the real // cost to you of processing a transaction. https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/blob/555adee539c4fe99e86dd41f37cc275c45ef7b82/src/version.cpp#L8 // Name of client reported in the 'version' message. Report the same name // for both bitcoind and bitcoin-qt, to make it harder for attackers to // target servers or GUI users specifically. const std::string CLIENT_NAME("Denarii"); Also, I'm sure how related this is but on the Discord server, a social community chat - https://discord.gg/BwfAmkE - Denarius is often referred to as "The D". This is all the evidence I have on how I came to the conclusion that D was what Kim Clement was prophesying about. A lot of folks, including myself, are wondering how to react to this prophecy about "The Denarii". When Kim receives a prophecy, it's something majorly important. Kim wouldn't prophesy about something so trivial so this has to be big. I mean, if every other coin can jump 1000x in value, why would he specifically call out this one unless it was majority huge and different from the rest. Maybe it's even meant for Denarius to be the coin that overtakes Bitcoin as the leader in the crypto currency sphere.

You guys asked, you shall receive: https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/commit/99c777f5276b45243f1b43216aa140c2d0ece444 The FIRST masternode, darksend, instantx, and spork commit is up now in the "masternodes" branch on the main Denarius Github, the versioning change is to v2.0.0.0 and the protocol versioning and DB versioning change, so only use it on a test machine and for test purposes, there is no GUI currently yet until further testing is done, RPC commands are available. Do not use on a machine with your normal wallet, it will at this point delete the existing chain. Â Â

  17. I bought a Raspberry Pi 3 a while ago and got it recently. So of course I decided to run my denarius wallet on it, so it can stake always without my computer being on. The operating system is Raspbian Stretch, so I assume this tutorial will work for debian stretch as well. Start by opening a terminal and paste the following code to install dependecies: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade -y sudo apt-get install autoconf libtool libssl1.0-dev libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev -y Because compiling can take up a large amount of RAM and the raspberry Pi only has 1 gigabyte of it, let us create a swapfile: cd / fallocate -l 4G swapfile chmod 0600 swapfile mkswap swapfile swapon swapfile Now, because the daemon requires Berkeley database version 4.8 to work, we need to download, compile and install it since that is not included in the software repositories. cd ~/Downloads wget http://download.oracle.com/berkeley-db/db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz tar -xzvf db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz cd db-4.8.30.NC/build_unix/ ../dist/configure --enable-cxx make sudo make install Now, let us download the denarius source code and compile it. cd ~/Downloads git clone https://github.com/carsenk/denarius.git cd denarius/src Because we use a custom Berkeley library, we need to specify its location in the makefile, so go ahead and open that up using nano: nano makefile.unix look for this line: DEFS += $(addprefix -I,$(CURDIR) $(CURDIR)/obj $(CURDIR)/json $(BOOST_INCLUDE_PATH) $(BDB_INCLUDE_PATH) $(OPENSSL_INCLUDE_PATH)) Change it to this line: DEFS += $(addprefix -I,$(CURDIR) $(CURDIR)/obj $(CURDIR)/json $(BOOST_INCLUDE_PATH) $(BDB_INCLUDE_PATH) $(OPENSSL_INCLUDE_PATH) /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/include/) Press CTRL+O to save the file, press enter to verify the filename, then press CTRL+X to exit nano. Now we are ready to compile it! When you have typed in this command, prepare to wait for a while, maybe grab a good book or go to the denarius gitter chat to socialize. Compiling took 63 minutes on my Pi, it will depend on your swapfiles read/write performance and if you have overclocked your Pi. make -f makefile.unix -j4 LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib" Now since we are using a custom library, we need to tell the operating system to let programs use that. To do that, we need to edit the file /etc/ld.so.preload: nano /etc/ld.so.preload Add the following line to the file, then save and exit, like before: /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib/libdb_cxx-4.8.so and reboot: sudo reboot Now, your denariusd is ready to run and you set it up like you always would.Â

  20. I've extracted the code to verify signed messages and make a standalone library https://github.com/chelahmy/dnrverify/ My intention is to implement a signed message verification function in PHP. I've tried https://github.com/BitcoinPHP/BitcoinECDSA.php and https://github.com/scintill/php-bitcoin-signature-routines but both failed to verify Denarius signed messages. They used the technique from this link https://crypto.stackexchange.com/a/18106 which seems to be different from the one used in Denarius. I noticed modular arithmetic is applied in Denarius code. So, I just extract the signed-message verification code from Denarius and see if I can make a PHP version. Digital signature has wide applications which should be initiated by the cryptocurrency world. Every digital wallet has private keys which are ready to be used to digitally sign anything, other than just to sign spending transactions. The other side of the applications just need to verify the signed something without necessarily going through wallets.

I think it's pretty straightforward so no detailed explanation needed. We could put minimal-limit like at least 30 followers or something. What do you think, forum?

  28. Greetings All, My Name is Stu. I am 29 years old and live in the United Kingdom working as a CRM Developer at Sage. I have over 15 years of working with in IT industry and I have dabbled with a lot. Starting off as a Service Engineer and building my way through to Network Engineer, Migration Engineer, Office 365 Microsoft Specialist to now a CRM Developer through multiple companies. Outside of my career I have done game development (designed and coded a few games in VB, Talusia Online, Kanium and Ultrix Empires), web design, application development, electronic builds, 3D printing / design with CAD and much more. Could go on for while haha so to cut things short I dabble with a lot of stuff I started off mining Bitcoin back in 2011 when it was worth next to nothing $0.12, and over the years I jumped on different coins when scrypt currencies came about. I found Denarius the day it was launched and have followed the project ever since helping out as much as I can. Now I'm glad to be part of the forum team to help support the all Denarians Thanks, Stu

  31. Thank you for this post. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out this prophecy and having my own doubts about it being the Iraqi Dinar. Everything u have said is like the puzzle coming together. Where my confusion is now is that bitcoin reached 20,000 in 2017, so does that mean we've missed out on the prophecy??? I'm so excited to have found your post. I had never heard of crypto currency. Please let me know if you have anymore insight on this. Again, thank you for sharing your information!

  33. If the only thing a coin has going for it is masternodes, then it makes no sense. , but denarius has other things, like encrypted messaging, stealth transactions and low block time.. Also, even though it is a PoS-only coin after a couple of years, supply will not inflate wildly. Yes it does give early adopters a nice payoff.. But that can be said for everything good added to the coin or the ecosystem around the coin. Masternodes accomplishes a few things: It reduces available coin supply (yes this is only a benefit to people already hodling the coin or buys before MNs is released). It encourages people to run stable nodes by giving them a financial incentive to do so, thus making the coin more decentralized (unless everybody hosts in the same datacenter). Because of masternodes being a buzzword in crypto circles, it would bring added awareness to the Denarius project. I too think that Denarius can be big without masternodes, but I fail to see how masternodes would be a bad thing - at worst, things will stay as they are, with an additional feature added to the wallet. Who is the community is a good question indeed. Of course I do not assume that everybody in the DNR community is in the discord and I agree that maybe the rumors of masternodes could have been communicated better. However as far as I know, Carsen has not stated that masternodes WILL be a part of the denarius wallet, he simply stated that it was something he is spending some time on, to see if it can be done. I see the problem that websocket-based chat apps/sites are blocked in coporate networks, so it might be hard to keep up with everything happening. However, on this very site there has been a thread with a poll since July 13th regarding masternodes. It has been annouced in the bitcointalk thread as far as I know and 3/4th of the votes wanted masternodes, so everybody who checked the thread knew that it was a possibility back then, just as it is a possibility now, not a certainty. To be honest I do not see how mining is different from buying a coin. Sure, you do not need the technical skills, but so what? If I mine the coin or if I buy the coin, I can dump it all the same. Actually I personally would probably dump some of it sooner if mining because I have to pay for electricity.. Maybe you are right, maybe masternodes does nothing to benefit Denarius in the long run.. But my question is this: Do you think masternodes would hurt Denarius? Even though we have opposing views, I do really appreciate your input. It is dangerous for a coins community to be inside an echo chamber where everybody hypes each other up.

  34. If DNR POW ends after 3 years total, who is going to keep nodes up with the current POS rewards? I think the masternodes encourage the network to be spread out after POW ends. Also when block rewards go from 3 to 4 DNR for a year, that will make it just a little bit easier to mine to get one. Obviously not easy, but possible over time. I have rained/soaked quite a bit in chat, mined this on and off since June, and want at least 1 MN myself. Buy, mine whatever it takes, I want a DNR masternode as Carsen is creating something special here. I still can't believe I am the first to bring this up in the bitcointalk ANN. At least I finally hear a reason some don't want to camp out on discord during the day.

  40. Hello, I think most of you know me from slack as a noob. I am a freelance and written articles about general media in past, active in Bitcointalk and Twitter from India. Came to know about Carsen and Denarius when he started a Twitter campaign a month ago I guess, very kind and helpful, I must say. Happy to be a part of Denarius community and yes, I still do ask stupid questions. Regards Ubercool
